Background

A FORD ECOSPORT had a traffic accident leading to exploded airbag. Then there was a crash history saved in ECU. Generally it should change a new airbag ECU, but it's high cost. Now it can be solved by P50 to reset airbag, an economical way.

Preparation

P50, Main Cable, P004 Adapter, P004 Jumper, FORD ECOSPORT Airbag ECU(CN15-14B321-BE)

Using OBDSTAR P50 to operate on【Erase Crash】.

Details Steps

①Connect P50 to a car, enter into【Airbag Reset】 ;

②Click airbag reset logo;

③Click the newest airbag reset edition;

④Click【Auto Search Part Number】 ;

⑤Read note, click【Enter】 ;

⑥Input part number of ECU(CN15-14B321-BE), click【Enter】 ;

Remarks: Auto Search Part Number supports fuzzy search, case-insensitive.

⑦Confirm part number, click【Enter】 ;

⑧Click【Diagram】 to check wiring diagram in BENCH mode;

Tips: Please power off P004 adapter in connecting wires process. After connecting cables, pls power on P004 adapter and turn on 120Ω resistor.(Pin boots pics can be enlarged for checking.)
